Sharon Scott – Director of Resources
Having worked in the industry for over 18 years, Sharon has an extensive knowledge of OBs and other related business. She began her career as an Equipment and Crew Coordinator for 021 in Birmingham and progressed to General Manager. During her time in the resources industry, she successfully demonstrated her ability to crew and equip large fleets of OB trucks while maintaining the smooth running of a very busy office. With a background such as this, Sharon is a vital part of the Omni experience.
Simon Nicholls – Head of Vision
Simon started in Arial Camera Systems at Shepperton Studios and then joined 021 TV to become one of the brightest stars in the industry. Over the past year, Simon, along with Dave Pollock, has played a key role in designing and building our brand new HD 1 OB truck. He remains an extremely experienced head on young shoulders and treats any project as a challenge to be met.
Dave Pollock – Head of Sound
Dave started his career in the BBC and went on to become Head of Sound for Black & White TV Mobiles, before joining 021 TV as a Senior Sound Engineer. His thoroughness is legendary within the industry. Both his engineering and sound mixing abilities make him a sought after operator for popular high end programmes such as BBC’s Top Gear and ITV’s Boat Race Coverage.
Dave Roberts – Senior Broadcast Assistant
Dave is now in his third year in the industry and has progressed well having been trained in camera operations. He now regularly operates cameras on live rugby and studio productions and expects to complete his training in 2009. Dave is also responsible for Omni base operations.
Ffion Edwards – Senior Resources Co-ordinator
Ffion has progressed from Derwen to take a very senior role in Omni and works in unison with Sharon Scott. Both bubbly and thorough, she is a key asset to the Omni Team and its resource management
Amanda Barbera – Crewing Co-ordinator
Amanda deals with the overall co-ordination of Omni’s busy crew schedules and needs. Her meticulous planning and organisational abilities teamed with her helpful and friendly nature is an inspiration to us all.
